Hyatt Regency Toronto for 12K/night

courtsey of Hyatt

When I first decided I has going to my 1st Caribana in Toronto, I just knew every hotel and AirBnb would be sold out. (I did sort of book everything a month and half out) I mean, if it wasn’t sold out, the prices would be astronomical or award nights would be obsolete. But to my surprise, the Hyatt Regency Toronto actually had availability for award nights for my entire stay. Mind blown.

The Hyatt Regency Toronto is a Category 3 property in an excellent location on King St. For 12,000 pts/night you are literally across the street from tons of bars and eateries. As a matter of fact, one such restaurant I ate at was Gabby’s. Gabby’s is a sports bar that serve local staples and great drinks. While there, I tried the fish and chips, which were superb.

Also, to my surprise I was automatically upgraded to room with a clear view of the CN Tower. Again, this was during Caribana weekend, when the hotel was sold out. The view was perfect. Thanks Hyatt!!

Now to be honest, I didn’t take pictures of the room. They were typically Hyatt Regency quality. Soft beds, clean and spacious rooms, and good air conditioning, LOL. Anytime I needed extra towels, someone was quickly bringing me some.

Nighttime (please excuse the blur):

I really enjoyed my time at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. In 2020, I definitely will be staying here again.
